MorrowDocket · UK business guide

UK compliance, clearly explained.

Product answers for UK sole traders and micro-businesses: how profile matching, official sources, email reminders and the MorrowDocket subscription work.

How does my saved business profile affect the obligations I see?

MorrowDocket matches published obligation entries to profile answers such as business type, VAT status, company status and staffing. A match is a starting point: your profile does not capture every circumstance, including all income, turnover, filing history or tax details, so it cannot determine every obligation that may apply to you. Check the official source attached to each published entry.

Where do obligation guidance and its official links come from?

An obligation entry is shown as published guidance only after an owner has verified and published it with official source URLs. Its attached official links appear with that entry. Research drafts are not presented as verified guidance, and this FAQ does not state individual tax rules.

Does my profile show every obligation or decide what applies to me?

No. The profile helps match published guidance to the details you save, but it cannot assess facts it does not ask for or replace HMRC or Companies House guidance. Your circumstances may mean an obligation applies—or does not apply—even when your profile looks similar to another business.

When will MorrowDocket send an email reminder?

Scheduled email reminders are for eligible published obligations with a due date saved to your profile. They require an active paid subscription, email reminders switched on, and configured email delivery; you can choose how far ahead to be reminded. Not every obligation has a saved date or qualifies, so a reminder is not guaranteed for every obligation.

What does the £15 monthly subscription include, and can I subscribe now?

The intended £15 per month subscription is for the dated compliance calendar based on your saved profile and eligible scheduled email reminders. Saving your profile, reading any published obligation guidance and saving reminder preferences are free. GBP checkout is currently unavailable, so no payment or paid access is granted through checkout.
